Liquid mass duplicates upon freezing and then melting - Water Duplication possible

By freezing a liquid, and then melting it, you can duplicate matter.  With the right combination of other tools, you can basically make your own homemade geyser, spewing forth 3C water at 20kg/s.  I assume this is unintended. 

This bug post explains the issue in relation to dirt. With liquifiables, it provides an infinte matter creator. 

Here's a showcase that illustrates the severity of the problem.

 


Steps to Reproduce
Drop ice in a bath of water with metal tiles on the bottom and at least two tiles deep. Avoid the edges of the tank. Watch the water quantity double when the ice melts.
