If water or another liquid is falling as drops (rather than as a physical object), if you save and load, those droplets will NOT turn back in to a liquid when they finish falling.
This is a major bug that impacts a large number of builds that should be a closed system, effecting the basic operation of buildings like natural gas generators, petroleum generators, research reactors, and liquid vents, to more advanced mechanisms like escher waterfalls.
In the attached video, you can see that I spawn 4 blobs of 1000 kg of nectar. The first one hits the catcher and turns in to 1000 kg of nectar. I mop that up. Then I save and load, and the other 3000 kg of nectar never appear at the bottom.
Steps to Reproduce
- Get a known amount of water at the top of a cliff
- Let water fall off of a cliff so that it falls in 'droplet' form
- Save and load while it is falling.
- Let the waterfall finish falling and measure the mass of the water. Some will be deleted.
