Latest Update on Ubuntu

I can not reproduce your problem. I'm running Bionic Beaver (Ubuntu 18.04) and everything works just fine for me.  Have you messed with your game folders?  I.e. tried to mod anything?

nope, i've done a fresh install... 

also my game crashes when i try to remove the black fog so see the complete map.

I think it is a problem with the nvidia driver

fixed it with:

LC_ALL=C %command%

in starting options.

it is a problem with having german as system language and floating points . and ,

This should hopefully be fixed in the next hotfix though you will have to generate a new world.

ok nice, when will this hotfix be available?

cause there was an update and after downloading it i tried starting a new game without the starting options and was failing like before
