Incorrectly reported available calories

Everything looks correct to me, since:

• Gristle Berry is 2000 kcal / kg (or per count)
• Liceloaf is 1700 kcal / kg (or per count)

Which means 16.64426*2000 + 2.390937*1700 = 37353.11, which matches your total Calories Available.

Also, 16.64426*2000 = 33288.52, which is what is being reported on the right in your resources list.

Your refrigerator just doesn't contain all the edible food. I can see some Liceloaf laying in front of the fifth table of your mess hall. The difference in the Gristle Berry is approximately 2000 kcal, so there is probably one extra gristle berry still sitting at the electric grill.

Makes sense ... and doesn't make sense. What you say appears to be technically correct, but reporting a number of food items as a fractional number (with 5 fractional digits precision) is utterly confusing.
