Hidden geyser (and maybe too many spawn in same biome)

I just started a new game in the latest version of the preview branch and then I saw a steam geyser just right of my starting position. Then, a little digging in that direction revealed the icon for another one just a few square from it, completely hidden. I would not have found it if not for the icon for missing scientist.

Is it normal that two geysers spawn that close of my starting point and with one being buried? It will heat up my base fast unless I rush a Miner as a way of putting some Abyssalite between those and me. And one geyser on turn five is already releasing some hot steam at 100C.

Yep, it's intended, they added new geysers, as well as more geysers, It's up to RNG if geysers spawn there, I wouldn't mind for it to heat up your base too much, they're quite far away.
