Welp, for a long time I had my Pacu breed in a room which I could not access fully (due to too much water) and the number of shells did stack, yet they did not stack.
Looking like this:

Scrolling straight up to the surface in the save above will also show 4 Atmosuits/Exosuits at a check point (there were previously more) in the same spot which do not stack either. I'd not be surprised if it applies to all clothing including the new Jet Suit. Not sure if there are other stacking issues either since one needs to hover over the stack which has not been stored.
Steps to Reproduce
1) Have eggs hatch in the same space and do not store the shells 2) ??? 3) Profit 42) Make/Have Atmosuits un-equiped without a space to store them and do not store them

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
