Gas Pipe Elemental Sensor doesn't output green when None is selected and nothing is pipe

amorek
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Windows Pending

When Gas Pipe Elemental Sensor has None selected and the pipe has nothing in it, the sensor should output Green Signal.

Actual:
Outputs Red Signal.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Build gas pipe with Gas Pipe Elemental Sensor with None gas selected
  2. Make sure there's no gas in it
  3. Sensor outputs:
    1. Red when no gas inside
    2. Red when any element is inside

Expected:

  1. Green when no gas inside.

User Feedback

I like this.

This extends to all sensors that detect an element. Adding 'None' or 'Empty' as an entry we could choose for actual play would be very useful indeed. This would add what could be considered a simple presence detection function without the need for an additional sensor in our collection.

Going with the liquid sensor and taking the unconfigured state as an example, "None" should start unselected instead and the "No Filter Selected" could be displayed next to either output (Not necessarily 'Output 2'):
