game crushes after Klei logo

I've been having the same issue for a few weeks. I've tried verifying game files, uninstalling and reinstalling. Not sure what else to do at this point in time. 

Hi @spicychoco, that log appears to be from a different game, Mythgard. We just updated the support document with the correct OSX Player.log location.

It appears that the game is having trouble connecting to Steam. Are you launching the game through Steam?

yeah and I start this game in steam. and I have no problem with other steam games.

@spicychoco @Yesman523 It's possible that you are not running the latest version of Steam as we discovered in this thread. Check using Help -> About Steam. Reinstalling Steam might solve this issue. You can do this without redownloading all your games if you move your Steamapps folder.
