Game always "freezes" on Klei opening screen

Please verify game files. If the game crashed, there may be an error now.

And if the problem persists, try to uninstall the new update for windows, just to check if this may be the cause.

I have exactly the same problem, exept that i didnt update windows and no bluesreen

I have had the same problem since the last update last week.
