Dupes become immobilized when an attack errand is unreachable. The Status panel is spammed with "In combat," so it would seem there is a race condition that occurs. May not happen immediately if dupes have higher priority tasks in queue, and did not occur for attacks on critters within naturally spawned tiles.

AAA, screencaps 2-4 show current errand as "Test text"...hmmmm.
Place a critter within a user created room, and then make that room inaccessible by a dupe.
Attack the critter within the inaccessible room.
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
