doesn`t detect any of my fresh water then my duplicants die of starvation because the food uses water. ps the branch section above i have no idea what it means.

Steps to Reproduce
trying to build my colony and the microbe musher required water then i check the water on the liquids list and it said i don't have any fresh water.

Can you please post here save and screenshot where you actually have water (but it does not detected though)?

As far as I know you need to have a pitcher pump in the water source in order for your dupes to bring it to the musher

Try f9  amd check them for contamination.  I had a fresh water pool that was full of Slime Lung in todays game..
