When a conveyor chute is build close to the floor and a wall, it often drops material inside the wall.
Like this :
As you can see, there's clay "inside" the wall. So the auto-sweeper can't get it.

Build a conveyor chute next to a wall, and just above the floor

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
