Coal generator battery recharge threshold not working

The threshold is for dupes giving it more coal, not for the generator itself being powered.

Its happen on manual "hamster wheel" generator,  when some power comsumer attached between power grid,

the workaournd is connect power producer straight to battery, then from battery use power transformer , next to power consumer 

Example:

Coal gen ==== battery === transformer -------- pump ------- hydrolyzer -------- (any)                                                               

Yeah this like making cable like snake, at least no power wasted, and no 24/7 generator

So the generator will stop burning coal mid load if there's no power being requested and the batteries are full?

I mean, the generator still burning and produce power, even battery is full, as long there a small thing between powerlines consume power like 10w lamp, no matter how much you set the threshold

Try it, coal gen ----- lamp  ----- battery. I dont know its bugged or intended feature

Because the lamp is requesting power from coal gen, not from battery where the right thing to do

 

 How its supposed to do, threshold on coal gen work is to make like this

Coal gen ----- battery ----- lamp

It does happen on manual generator too, i dont know if they already fixes this

Since now i always put generator straight to batteries, and nothing between the lines
