CO2 appearing in steam chamber

yoakenashi
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Windows Fixed

There is a recurring packet of CO2 appearing inside my steam chamber. There are no vents. There are no gas pipes containing CO2. There is no frozen or liquid CO2 on this asteroid. The rocket has not launched. The chamber is isolated from the rest of the base by a vacuum. Yet, CO2 appears and the count of CO2 will continue to go up. I have created a vent to purge this repeatedly as it was damaging my rocket, but it keeps reappearing.

Do you have dupes running around with oxygen masks in space?

I do not; however, I do have an airlock above my steam chamber. Per the post you shared, I expect the exhaled CO2 falls through the vacuum and then transports through the solid tiles to displace (or replace, not sure which) a steam tile.

I will try to add a layer of solid tiles across the top of my steam chamber. I don’t know if the CO2 can transport through multiple sections of solid tiles or not.

Thanks @sakura_sk
