At the moment we can't maintain a certain species of bug except shine bugs because they can't eat what it is specified in their diet. For example a sun bug cannot eat gristle berry so it can reach a 90% of laying a sun egg. It is forced either to lay at 50-65 shine-sun or we can increase the percentage of laying a royal egg. But then the royal bug won't eat fried mushroom. And if fed peppernut it will lay a coral egg... and the line of evolution continuous endlessly. Feeding them phosphorite is the only safe choice but will not control percentages.
