Doors can be automated to compress gasses infinitely. 

Doors should destroy gasses present within themselves when closing. 

 

Deletion would be less disruptive than compression.

Steps to Reproduce
Use automation to open and close doors in sequence.
Go to bugs

This doesn't seem like a bug

By your logic any tile built would also destroy the gas where they are built instead of displacing gas to ajacent open space
