Batteries no longer animate when connected to automation, they're just a static image now. I had a smart battery and two regular batteries all connected via Heavy Watt wire to a coal generator with a Buffer gate attached in between and the batteries no longer play their "sparks coming off" animation. The batteries animate regularly when they are not hooked up to an automation system.
Steps to Reproduce
Build some batteries (requires a smart battery for automation) and hook them to a power generator via automation. The batteries no longer animate, regardless of whether or not power is being generated.
