Algae terrarium bottles don't stack until save+load

Coolthulhu
  • Branch: Preview Branch Version: Windows Pending

Algae terrarium, when emptied, drops a bottle of polluted water. This bottle never stacks with one already on the tile, from earlier emptying.

However upon game load, all bottles on the tile are restacked. This affects polluted oxygen production rather heavily if the number of bottles was large.

Steps to Reproduce
Have an active algal terrarium and no building that takes in polluted water. Let it run until it needs to be emptied two times. Mouse over the bottle under terrarium - there should be two bottles, both roughly same mass. Save+load the game. Check the bottles again - there will be only one bottle.

User Feedback

The PO2 offgassing is based on mass so the production is the same.

I can add that this happens with everything that is dropped on the same tile as the other thing already is on, i.e. dropping a sandstone chunk from the ground tile (so it stays on the same tile but only visually falls from the building on the ground) while there is another chunk anyway there will not create a bigger chunk, however if you drop it from a tile above it, the stacking is triggered correctly.
