The character would be silenced after the iron boss exploded

The iron boss will explode if being defeated. After the explosion, what the character says cannot be heard. Something goes wrong with the sound.

Steps to Reproduce
Defeat the iron boss, and examine some items.
Go to bugs

I was not able to repro this problem. Can you think of any other factor that might be a part of the puzzle?
