Seagawks still "display" all of their petals even after they have been picked clean

I have seen similar things with the Peagawks. After picking all feathers and going into hiding, the "hiding" animation will show all of the feathers still on the bird. When you approach, sometimes the bird will run away with its feathers until you attempt to pick it right next to it, then the feathers disappear again.
