I don't know if this is intended or not but in this case Wilson is now stuck here forever.

Steps to Reproduce
Go in a dungeon and find wait for the vines to grow back
Go to bugs

I wouldn't necessarily call this a bug. But something you must be aware of when exploring the ruins. Think akin of making sure you have enough resources for light (torches/Light bulbs/etc...) for exploring the normal caves.
