Shift clicking to transfer items sometimes causes them to dissapear

I shift clicked on the roc_robin_egg in order to move it between inventory and backpack and it suddenly evaporated from view.  I've searched around trying to find where they went, but haven't had any luck. If it helps, I believe I was using the icebox when it happens

Steps to Reproduce

1. shift click on the one robin egg in the game

2. experience the pain of a mother losing her child

I was not able to reproduce the bug.
Can you try to reproduce the bug without using mods, if you are using any?
