Pig House spawns pigs when ignited and extinguished

KXWl1
  • DLC VERSION - IMPORTANT!: Vanilla - NO DLC, Reign of Giants, Shipwrecked, Hamlet Dupe

relevant components: "burnable", "spawner" ...

My suggestions: Adding ''inst.components.spawner:IsOccupied()" check to event listening 'onignite'.

Steps to Reproduce

1. build a pig house and fire suppressor

2. kill pig with fire! Kill it with fire!

3. Ignite the pig house immediately

4. the pig is out, but its respawn time is not ready.

5. Can also happen in Vanilla game as there are 'extinguished'

It's survived 3 DLCs, been known about for over eight years, numerous bug reports over the years, and on Youtube alone "dont starve fire farm" has well over a million views. Klei's had to have known about it, and repeatedly decided to let us keep what people loved.

In a similar way, when Klei had to patch beloved bugs, they found a way to replace the bugs officially. Lantern Bug was known about for over five years when it was patched, during Hamlet, and we also got Lamp Posts that produce infinite Light, and are made with Lanterns... When the Backpack Bug was patched during SW, we got merged worlds, giving us infinite storage, and then in Hamlet, Bundling Wraps were ported over, which have the same functionality as the original Backpack Bug.

As for developer confirmation, I do remember some for the Pinecone Bug: Weak evidence #1 and Strong evidence #1
