If you hold any of the things or an item that corresponds to a storage-follower (chester eyebone, etc), and put it in your backpack or storage item you are wearing it will not drop when switching DLCs.

Steps to Reproduce

Put a world exclusive item in your backpack and switch worlds, note the item is still in your backpack

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

Even you do not put the items in the backpack, when they drop during the world travel, the player can use the mouse to pick up them. Plz don't cry KCDA, think of DST's chester eyebone to cave, and this problem can be easily solved, and I don't think there are any skills to use (which is a thing KCDA wants, right?), unless KCDA try to teach Chester how to swim in SW.
