Wortox's horns pokes out of hats (just about all of them) when soul hopping (both from when starts and ends his teleportation). This applies to the default skinned Wortox and the Minotaur skin. For the Minotaur skin, his ears can pop out of hats that are "closed" or over his ears, such as Football Helmets and Melon Hats.

Be Wortox. Wear Hats. Soul Hop and look closely at head/horns. Ears for those "closed" hats.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
