The Astral Detector arrow wont show up

I am on the normal branch of the game and when I place down the astral detector it does the animation but the light arrow wont show up to tell me what direction the pieces are 

Edit: did some testing and the astral detector arrow showed up on a new world, but not my old world that was before the update 

Steps to Reproduce

I placed down the astral detector so it turned into the drill as the top part shook around but as soon as the animation stopped no light arrow appeared, I placed it down all over the world but nothing happened

Can I ask for one of your save files? You can access it from the Host Game screen now with the folder icon.

Same problem here. I plant Astral Detector, it makes animation, but arrows don't show up and usage pool doesn't decrease. World was generated before update.
