Something is dead wrong with the shadows

It's been like this for awhile now, I'm not sure how klei hasn't found out about this yet??

When you see shadow creatures/shadow items they're pitch black, no variation determined by the amount of sanity you have.

A similar bug is maxwells puppets being complete copies of the player skin, color and all (it almost looks like other players). I'm pretty sure this is a bug, if not it should be the shadow design.

Find a shadow creature

Go to bugs

I've been dreaming of this being an actual intended feature for so, so, so, so, so, so, so, long.
It's a bit jarring to see it finally arrive in the form of a bug.

That seems to imply your GPU isn't rendering alpha correctly.  What's your OS?  Include client_log.txt + dxdiag.txt files to help, too.
