No fountains in archives.

That is very game-breaking bug indeed, especially if an old world didn't get retrofitted properly An update that forces such retrofit and a fix that makes new worlds generate said structures properly would be most appreciated. The player shouldn't have to resort to generate a new world or fiddle with console commands.

In my case, it's not even a retrofit, it's just straight up a world generated after the eye of the storm update.

Did you have any mods enabled when creating the world with missing fountains?

no, this is literally a vanilla world. I can even share the seed for proof if you need it.
