I am not able to reproduce this on a non modded setup. I notice you have The Architect Pack mod and some other server mods would you be able to retry this when your mods are turned off?

Objects being invisible is something I have been experiencing for a while.

Items, structures, trees, even the character themselves can be invisible.

I think it probably has something to do with loading in but the assets aren't fully loaded in for mysterious reasons?
