Menu bug

A friend purchased the game recently, she runs the game and when she gets to the menu with: Host Game, Options, ... she can´t click anything. The game minimizes and opens a page. Tried hovering over all the menu and sometimes only Quit highlights.

We tried inviting her to a server through steam, she conects but cant change or select a character so i guess it's some kind of menu or controls bug.

 

Verified cache, uninstalled and reinstalled, change resolution in setting.ini, removed mods. Nothing helps

Hello @big1787, welcome to the forums. Does she perhaps have a Controller plugged in when she starts up the game? Sometimes that conflicts with the K+M controls of the game, so if she does have a controller plugged in let her remove it first. If she just got the game pretty recently, then deleting the DoNotStarveTogether folder under Documents
\Klei\ wouldn't hurt either. Try those first.

In addition to what Zillvr provided, if she has any unique USB devices (controllers, specialized mice, keyboard, etc...) try unplugging those and just leaving the keyboard and mouse plugged in to see if that helps. If she has (or has had) any controller emulation software like Vjoy installed, it may be conflicting with the game's controls; try uninstalling that.
