i cant play "Unable to write to config"

Better google on how to change directory read-write properties. If its the case - this issue is super common. If everything fails or you feel too lazy - use either appdata folder of your user or documents folder of your user. Both are supposed to have free rw access.

That is assuming you use windows OS

You may also want to try creating another save directory (say c:\DontStarveTogether) and then launch the game with that as the save directory:

- In steam right-click the game in your library
- Select ‘properties’
- Click ‘Set launch options’
- Enter ‘-persistent_storage_root c:\DontStarveTogether’ (without the quotes)
- Close dialog.
- And the next one
- Launch the game.
