If you drop bait on the water near a shoal of fish, and you pick it back up, the fish will continue seeking the bait and eat it straight out of your inventory. I can replicate in gif format if that helps lol.
Steps to Reproduce
be on a boat, find shoal of fish, drop stack of bait like egg/morsel/seeds in the water near the shoal so they come for it, pick it back up and they will eat it out of your inventory until you have no more food ;-;

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
