dontstarve_steam.exe crashed

Hey guys. I have already logged over 200 hours of DS, but in a recent reinstall - without any save files or mods - I keep getting a ".exe has stopped working" message right at the start.

My specs: 

Windows 10 Home

Intel i7 4790S

8GB RAM

AMD Radeon R7 A265 / Intel HD Graphics 4600

 

I reinstalled DX and VC, and have forced my AD card to play the game on high performance.

 

I also verified the integrity of the game files on steam, and reinstalled the game several times.

 

I am stumped.

Hmm, unfortunately the log is not indicating a cause for the crash. However, it is indicating that the game is currently being run using your Intel HD Graphics card. Try going into your AMD card's control panel and forcing the GPU to launch and run the game instead of your integrated Intel graphics card to see if that makes a difference. If not, please send us your most recent client_log.txt file and we will investigate further.
