Don't Starve Together mods not working (for steam)

Thank you for the response! I've tried both ways listed there and neither has worked. For the second version (link at bottom of that page) it mentions finding the workshop number and deleting the empty files, but they're not showing up (Client and Server mods) for the Don't Starve Together directory. Is there another possible way to fix this? Thanks!

[Solution that worked for me] Hey! I had the exact same issue. It may be late, but it could help some people. After hours of digging (and none of the solutions working), this arcicle helped me a lot:

If your DST is installed on the drive other than C:, this may be the issue. Uninstalling DST and installing it on C: drive is what solved the problem for me. I can now install workshop mods without any problems or workarounds.
