One of Pearl's tasks is to plant 8 bushes on her island. Rather than it being hardcoded to be JUST berry bushes, the game instead checks for entities that are pickable, plants, AND bushes. This means that all 3 varieties of berry bushes, and banana bushes all work, and any future (or modded!) bushes added should too. But unfortunately stone fruit bushes fail these checks because, despite clearly being bushes, they don't have the "bush" tag.
Uncracked stone fruit IS edible. Moleworms can eat it, so the same could apply to Pearl. This would bring the number of options per world for the bush planting task up to 3!!
