chester’s eye bone disappeared

I guess it has something to do with The Eye of the Storm update because this occured two times after the update. However it just happened at the same location. When i try to pick up the eyebone at that specific place it just vanishes and i can’t see it in my inventory. And after this chester just goes mad and keep circling around us pointlessly. 

Steps to Reproduce

Well, in my world, it happened near the ocean and a bee queen hive. When i dropped it, i could see the eye bone but could not get it back to inventory and it just disappeared just like log suit in the recent days, so i don’t really know what triggers this issue but it’s so frustrating. i hope u guys can figure something out.

I think @TheGoldenDonut_ experienced something like this in Maxwell Memes. He posted the clip of Chester frantically running around for no reason on the Lunar Island. It fixed itself though. It's on page 721 of Maxwell Memes if you want to see for yourself.
