So before doing any research, I bought the biggest chest of cloth on the in game dst pc store. It was a little suspicious that all the chests were the same price, but I thought that maybe you were only allowed to buy each chest once. However after buying the largest chest the largest chest remains in the shop leading me to believe that they are being sold by mistake. After looking it up, it seems like cloth is the in game currency of the XBOX version of dst.

Go in the in game pc dst store
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
