Being Flagged by Antivirus Since Event Update

I'm not sure if this is a "bug" necessarily, but it is new since the latest update and it's making me wary of playing until I know it's nothing.

I did the event update and when I went to start it up for the first time, my Norton Antivirus flagged the dontstarve_steam.exe for suspicious behaviour. It first gave me the notification that it had an "Invalid Digital Signature" and shut my network down to be safe until I took action. Then, when I started the game, I got this notification (see image);

Data Protector blocked suspicious action by dontstarve_steam.exe
Suspicious process attempted to open a file protected by Data Protector.

If anyone can assuage my fears and tell me about this I would appreciate it!

Steps to Reproduce

Unsure, it just happened on startup with my antivirus.

As noted in your steam thread, we believe this to be a false positive on the part of Norton. You can delete the file in question and it should be replaced. You may have some issue with your installation if you're using a shared directory, but this file is installed through the game, so should be entirely writable by the game and not "protected".
