game freaking out for friends on regular

Graphic oddity
- A & B: screen changing colour (pink, black, white)
- B: seizure-like screen flashing
- A: was invisible on their screen as a ghost

Stats completely messed up
- A: friend had low sanity, picked dozens of flowers but nothing changed
- A: health bar said over 60,000 for a while
- A: lost half of their sanity from putting a log on a fire, but the sanity bar still displayed as full
- A: cannot interact with objects as a ghost

I have included only my log files, I don't have access to theirs. Hopefully it can still help.

Steps to Reproduce
These bugs occur to both of my friends when they join my server. Everything looks fine on my screen - screenshots are from my friends.

I'm assuming that this has something to do with the Gorge Event as we've never had game problems before, and none of our mods have recently changed.

I actually just looked through my mods and it turns out the glitching was caused by a broken mod to use Ashes as fertilizer! I've removed it from my subs.

The issue was vanilla only, not Gorge related.
