When a player gets a varglet during a hound wave and they are near a coast, sometimes the varglet will spawn on water (since hounds can spawn in water while swimming). Varglets are unable to reach players on land since they do not have a swimming and leaving water animation like hounds, which prevents them from going anywhere except wherever there is water.

Steps to Reproduce
Step 1: Wait long enough to have a hound wave with a varglet
Step 2: Stand near as much ocean as you can to potentially spawn a varglet in the ocean or in water, like a hound can
Step 3: See if the varglet is able to get onto land or is stuck on water
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
