Ocean Trawler Issues

Issue 1:

Fish seem to be attracted to the ocean trawler if the trawler is raised, as seen by them hugging the trawler, bait or no bait.

Issue 2:

Figs and berries are weird. For fish that have vegetarian diets, they will eat figs and berries, which is to be expected.

But the Sweetish Fish, who have a berry diet, will only eat the figs if it's from a fishing rod but won't replace the fig if its in an Ocean Trawler (as seen by them going into the trap, but when it gets raised, they get launched out).

They also won't eat berries in a fishing rod or an ocean trawler, but will eat the berry if its in the water (I only tested a regular berry, not juicy berry).

Issue 3:

Can't use spoiled food in the bait, unless that's intended and I imagine any spoiled food will get launched out the trawler.

And I guess a fourth issue where Malbatross won't spawn from fish being removed from their malba shoals, but idk if that's intended or not.

Steps to Reproduce

The above.

There's a similar problem with deep bass not eating kelp out of the trawlers. This was really annoying when all trawler slots were filled with kelp because the deep bass entering the trawler would immediately overflow it and cause all the kelp to fall out in addition to not catching the bass.

Seems easy to reproduce by putting a trawler down full of kelp on a shoal.

I have issue #2 fixed currently looking at the others.

Issue #1 I can not reproduce it might be already fixed on our working branch.

The Ocean Trawler is designed to catch fish naturally without the requirement of bait but having bait increases the odds of it. Deep Bass diet is meat and Kelp does not satisfy this so having a full Ocean Trawler of Kelp will put the fish into the overflow area of the Ocean Trawler.

Ahh interesting; thanks for explaining. The observed behavior was really confusing without that context. In effect, it looked like the deep bass were swimming up and ripping the net open to spill out the goods.

The Malbatross one I will redirect to your other report. The rot part I am thinking is intentional but I will look into it further on the todo list.

From what I can see, some fish are either getting stuck on the trawler and I see fishes make nips at the water. This trawler was raised and baited with meat and I used oceanfish_medium_3:
