Magic Growth Is Being Applied to Crops/Plants While Magic Growth Is Already Being Done On Them

Have 30 Banana Bushes and get horticulture, expanded (or Horti, Abridged and Berry Bushes or whatever).

Read book once to start the growing process and while the plants are growing, read again (total of 2 reads).

See that you don't get all 30 Banana Bushes (unless the intention is to wait b/w reads).

This is also happening with crops and the crops end up becoming rotten, as previously reported here.

Changed Status to Fixed

Unfortunately, all three scenarios shown above still occurs in the latest patch 516384. I also double-checked and I indeed was on the latest patch.

I would put it all under one spoiler, but unfortunately, the forums isn't letting me do that.

For the second clip, I got one asparagus cause I was in range of that banana bush in the corner.

After doing a little more investigation, I think the magicgrowth tag is being applied too late?

I don't have proper debugging tools, so I was using this command:

if c_select():HasTag("magicgrowth") then c_announce("The plant has the tag") else c_announce("There is no tag") end

For crops, the tag gets applied but only after one stage of growth, meaning that the initial stage the crop is at can get double read, causing the double magic growth & the rotting crops (otherwise it works after that first growth stage).

This may also be what's happening with the banana bushes but it's hard to tell since they grow faster than I can check.

As for why the Stone Fruit bushes + Eyeplant combo keeps growing, I've got no clue as it's hard to use the command for them since they grow so fast and idk which ones will keep growing.
