If the WARBIS helmet breaks while on a followers head it stays in their inventory.

I think it's working as intended, and the same goes for BS and void, and it would be annoying if I had to pick it up off the ground every time I broke it.

You still would, since if it breaks on, say a pigman, the only way to recover the broken helmet is to kill the pigman.

Giving it a new helmet doesn’t cause the old one to drop, instead being forced into it’s inventory.

oh, I mean when it's on the player's head, they just work the same way.
