Crabby Hermit gives no reward for clearing junk in water

I picked up and destroyed all the Shell Clusters around Pearl's island and she did not show an ounce of gratitude. No bundle. No nothing.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Remove all the Shell Clusters around Pearl's island.

2. Approach her in hopes of a reward.

3. Nothing happens.

If you've already cleaned up the water, you'll need to drop something in the water and pick it up to complete the task
