Bearger drop more loot when their corpse eaten by mutated buzzard

I dont think you can pick up all tufts before they evaporate though

This question of mine is super duper late, and I am not sure if the fix they applied affected this. I am trying to get circling buzzards above me to swoop down and eat bearger's corpse, but they just don't come down. Dead Bearger lies there on the ground until a gestalt comes to possess it, and one solid thick fur pops out of Armored Bearger. How do I get buzzards to eat the bearger's corpse?

After that I tried spawning small mobs and even bee queen to kill them on the spot and buzzards swooped down like expected. 20 buzzards even showed up to loot bee queen's corpse even though there were only 10 shadows before , but that is a different matter I suppose

The Crystal-Crested Buzzards are possessed by Incursive Gestalts and are smart enough to allow other Incursive Gestalts to perform their possession. Currently there is no opportunity for Crystal-Crested Buzzards to eat a Bearger corpse in unmodified gameplay.
