A (semi-comprehensive?) list of the un-physics of ONI

Sorry, got caught with a bad case of the "busies", I've updated the OP with the comments from the previous posters.

One dupe of 30kg genetic ooze can carry easily 1800kg.

The gaz reservoir got a mass of 400kg and hold 150kg of gaz.

I won't add the first one because clearly dupes are magical, just as much as all the critters.

I am confused by your second point though?

That's a very nice list.

It would be nice if ONI removed some of the items off the list in future patches. Of course, not everything has to be removed, because ONI is a game and not a physics simulation. But it would be nice if ONI were a bit more realistic.

A true physics simulation would require more hardware than most gamers are willing to invest in. The learning curve on this game is steep, even for someone with an engineering or applied science background. Making it 'real' from a physics standpoint would probably keep a large number of players out and less sales is bad.

It is hard to find games that are mentally challenging strategically and visually stimulating at the same time. The videos I have found on YouTube do not show half the tricks you can develop in the game. The Wiki out there is just the basics.

I am beginning to wonder if the Dupes doing 'The Cask of Amontilado' imitation is a game feature since they are so very good at it. People might say that their behavior is not realistic. Those people have not managed employees before...
