bad hamlet theory

Recommended Posts

Just an idea while I was playing Hamlet, what if there are 7 dimensions in Constant to reflect the 7 deadly sins?

I know, I know, practically every game, tv show, book, and sitcom have a "7 Deadly Sins!!!" theory but whatever.

For instance, the Forge being wrath, the Gorge being gluttony, Hamlet being greed, SW being sloth (vacation-esque?), and the normal world perhaps being pride, or an odd-one out.

idk just ignore it at this point

I read something online about the 9 levels of hell and it kind of links up. https://historylists.org/art/9-circles-of-hell-dantes-inferno.html

1st level constant

2nd shipwreck

3rd gorge

4th hamlet? Possible

5th forge.

So 4 more left? Maybe.

I would say forge would be the 7th layer, and if Hamlet were to fit anywhere it would have to be the fourth, since finding treasures in one of the main ideas. The constant might also be the 9th circle, seeing that the original game was just summer/winter, and that the 9th circle was ice-themed, if the throne room is its own place separate from the constant, I think that would represent the first circle of hell. It being a castle and all.

I said the constant was the first as it also described as an inferior heaven, but yeah the whole castle thing did make me think of the throne room. But then again the devil was trapped in ice, so maybe the throne room is represented as the last level of hell as the characters were trapped on the throne.
