Regenet Posted October 31, 2018 Share Posted October 31, 2018 I bought Oxygen Not Included on Steam yesterday and it is refusing to open, I’ve went through all the steps on the support site and have went through the forums but it still refuses to open. I’ve included my system specs and the loading box that appears for 1-2 seconds when I hit play. Then when the box disappears Steam switches from “Running” to “Syncing” and then it goes back to saying nothing. I hope someone here can give me some solution I really don’t have any idea of what else to try. Which methods did you follow specifically, so we're all on the same page and that I don't end up reiterating methods you've already attempted. At first glace, it seems like an error specifically with Unity failing to install for you. For some reason. So I think you should try to manually instal unity instead: Link: https://unity3d.com/get-unity/update Unless, you've already tried that. Let me know which methods you've already tried. Regenet Posted October 31, 2018 Author Share Posted October 31, 2018 Hi @Zillvr, thanks for getting back to me. I installed Unity from the link but it is still doing the same things. So far I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it twice, turned off all security/ad blockers, restarted Steam, updated my drivers, and verified the files via Steam. I think we'll have to wait on the devs to weigh in on what could possibly be going wrong. So for now, I suggest adding a report to the bug tracker cause this could be an issue with the installation of Unity specifically when ONI get's first installed. Head over to: https://forums.kleientertainment.com/klei-bug-tracker/oni/ and click add bug Don't forget to add your log files(if any), there should be instructions on how to specifically find the logs for ONI at the bottom of the page when you are in the "Create New Bug" page. Hopefully, that should shed some more light on the matter. Sorry I couldn't help resolve the issue. If I can think of anything else to try, I'll let you know. Cheers.
