Modding Help Needed

Hi, i currently have the ambition of making a mod that adds characters from Mother 3/Earthbound 2, Problem is i don't know how to mod, any tips?

Take a LUA crash course, and preferably more tutorials on LUA. There's no way around it. When you're done making this mod, you'll know how to code LUA. Making a whole new character is very complicated, and will most likely require you to investigate existing mods, to see how everything works. Take a look at the pinned (top) threads in the "Mods and Tools" part of the forum, like this one which goes over some of the basics, and this one which goes over a template for creating character animations.
