BionicSandwich
When I first encountered the pig village, I found many residents asking for hedge clippings. This confused me, because wouldn't they pay you to trim the hedges, rather than pay you for the clippings? I propose a sort of contract system, where you talk to a pig, they ask you for a commodity(like poop, stone, etc), you get an Item that acts a list of what they want, and once you get the items, you can hand in the contract to the pig who gave it to you. In my head this means that you can only sell items to pigs who specifically requested those items, rather than just giving hedge trimmings to a random pig on the street. Rhovious Aran
Sounds overly complicated to me. And requires you to carry around even more items such as "lists" in the already usually overburdened inventory. I like the way Klei approached it, and the hedge clippings also make for nice emergency food. ToSoublaki
I'd prefer just a flavor text change. Something in the lines of "These hedges look so ugly. Someone should tend them" and "Oh, it looks like you took care of them! Here's something for your trouble". Contract system while a cool idea would make it feel like a chore after a while.
